Spotlight on ASAE's Young Professionals

This year, ASAE & The Center’s Young Professionals group is the place to hang out!   ASAE & The Center’s Young Professional Committee will be onsite and looking forward to meeting you. Here is a special place where young professionals can meet, mingle and share their experiences in the association community—on M2M, ASAE & The Center’s new and improved online networking and social workspace. You can connect with your peers, advance your career or find the right program for you, all from the Young Professional Resource Page, the gateway to essentials for young professionals in the association community.

Also, you can get the most out of this year’s Annual Meeting & Expo by engaging before, during and after the conference. There are plenty of opportunities to connect with your colleagues and hear all the buzz! Blog Roll: An average of 15 people blog about the Annual Meeting & Expo each year, and the list is growing. If you’re interested in blogging, be sure to sign up for the blog roll. If you are interested in reading what other have to say, look no further.

Make a Young Professionals Statement:  Look for the YPC flair buttons, pick up a YPC business card or connect with other young professionals on Twitter at #asae10 10, see what the association community has to say on Acronym, ASAE & The Center’s blog, or watch the onsite video blogs. Whatever your interest, build your network and make the most of your Annual Meeting & Expo experience with the help of the YPC.

There are a lot of great education sessions, networking opportunities, and ways to connect with business solution providers who can help solve your trickiest problems. Use the overall schedule at a glance to get a sense for the structure of the meetings, then click on any areas that interest you to get the full scoop.

Come say hello, hang out, and connect with young association executives at one of the YPC meet-up events.  Take a look at Aaron Wolowiec, director of meetings for the Health Care Association of Michigan and vice-chair of ASAE & The Center's Young Professional Committee, discusses what is in store for YPs in the coming year.
