A Whirlwind of Conferences...July Wrap-Up

NFi Studios

Another month ends, another month begins! What a busy but successful month July was!  Our team was flying all over the country to participate in some of the top conferences in the association industry.   From specific industries to many industries coming together as a whole, there was education, networking, and growth.

We start our journey the week of July 19th...to Pasadena, CA for the 2010 AICPA/SEA Interchange Conference.   After launching the new MACPA community, known as iMACPA, the MACPA staff wanted us to showcase the community to the rest of the CPA industry and that we did. NFi was honored to attend and be a sponsor for this leading professional staff development conference for state CPA societies.  We had James Ward representing us in CA, and we look forward to the partnerships created within the industry.

Head north to Seattle, and you will find Taylor Henry at The American Association of Medical Society Executives (AAMSE) 2010 Annual Conference.  We were also a sponsor at this event showcasing the MemberFuse community platform for associations, and participating as an attendee.

Time to travel across country to sunny & hot, Naples, Fl! What do you have when you mix association executives & hoteliers? You have a pretty amazing time at the FSAE Annual Conference.  NFi Studios was honored to be a sponsor, and hosting the Social Media Lounge featuring the very active I am FSAE member community.   Their members are using the MemberFuse community to collaborate before and after the conference experience, and join their committees together on a continuous basis.

Ok now back to the Northwest to BEAUTIFUL Vancouver. Words cannot describe the sights, sounds, and people of this amazing city.  Sterling, myself and April Broussard from our team, were delighted to be a part of Meeting Professional International's 2010 World Education Congress.   As NFi Studios, we had a booth to speak about the new MPI Community powered by MemberFuse to many of the MPI chapters.   Also, I was honored to be chosen for the Social Media Guru Program for MPI.  There was much chatter surrounding the conference, but for myself it was a positive experience, and I was able to tweet session quotes for virtual attendees as well as communicate my thoughts and more.   I hope that MPI continues this program, and adds a more structured approach to the program.  It was amazing to meet inspirational leaders in the Meetings & Event Industry, and we look forward to continuing the partnership with MPI

So there you have it - our journey in July! Next stop, ASAE Annual Meeting in LA in August!
