Buzz 2010 - A Closer Look into your Association's Workplace

Buzz2010 - Social Media for Association Leaders is a series of breakfast meetings where top association and non-profit executives can hear directly from the leading minds in social media for business. As June has already passed, it’s time to focus on the July 20, 2010 | August 18, 2010 meetings. Take your choice or go to both!

Each speaker brings a wealth of experience working through social media challenges in a business setting. At Buzz2010, July 20th, insights will focus on unique questions that you face as association and non-profit leaders.

This session speakers will include Wendy Harman, Social Media Manager at the American Red Cross; Alexandra Levit, Wall Street Journal Columnist. Alexandra has written a number of books (and a nationally syndicated column) on workplace issues. At the breakfast, she’ll talk about the risks we’re all confronting in relation to workplace issues–productivity and the balance between personal and professional life. Mark Story, adjunct professor of public relations at the University of Maryland, and director of new media at the Securities and Exchange Commission will also inspire everyone with his unique views.

Just in case you missed the June breakfast meeting, next Tuesday at Noon, you can catch the rebroadcast (and hold on to the recording and materials) from the Buzz2010 Breakfast on Open Leadership with Charlene Li, author of Groundswell and the newly released Open Leadership.
