CAE Accreditation & 50th Anniversary of the CAE Program

On behalf of everyone here at NFi Studios, we sincerely congratulate ASAE and the CAE for their hard work in creating a program that has recently been granted accreditation by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).  We never fail to be impressed with ASAE and the CAE.  This recent grant by NCCA just makes this Association even more remarkable! Earning the CAE credential is indeed the hallmark of a committed association professional.

The announcement of accreditation coincides with the 50th anniversary of the CAE program.  The Certified Association Executive (CAE™) program is designed to elevate professional standards, enhance individual performance, and designate association professionals who demonstrate the knowledge essential to the practice of association management. The CAE program has stood as a mark of excellence for over 40 years.

ASAE highlights the impact of the CAE

• Drives professional self-confidence: 70% of CAE test takers report enhancing knowledge, improving advancement opportunities, and elevating their status in their current position as their motivation.
• Widespread value and recognition: particularly among your board leaders, members, and those involved in hiring nonprofit professionals including executive recruiters and association HR directors.
• Opens doors and creates connections: through a range of CAE-only events and increased volunteer leadership opportunities through ASAE & The Center and local, state, and regional association professional societies.

NCCA accreditation provides independent validation that the CAE program meets or exceeds twenty-one standards concerning various aspects of the certification program including its purpose, structure, governance, psychometric foundation, policies and procedures.  Accreditation validates the integrity of the program, and is a mark of quality.  Earning accreditation is a public demonstration of ASAE and the CAE Commission’s commitment to the CAE credential as a true professional certification.

An honored achievement indeed!  Congratulations!
