Dare to Challenge - Sterling Raphael speaking at Friday's AGC Convention in Orlando

The Associated General Contractors of America's 91st Annual Convention and Pavilion will be held at the Orlando Marriott World Center this week March 17-19, 2010 at the Orlando Marriott World Center.

“As the construction industry continues to battle tough economic conditions and legislative challenges, AGC's Annual Convention provides the only opportunity for contractors to get all the latest information on economic forecasts, rules and regulations, and best practices, and to hear first-hand from others on what they are doing to survive and thrive in this challenging environment.

Each year more than 3,000 general and specialty contractors from across the industry take part in the AGC Convention's three days of networking opportunities, keynote speakers, and professional development and business workshops conducted by leading experts in their respective fields.” http://convention.agc.org/

Focusing on innovative technology, this year, our own Sterling Raphael will be speaking on - Friday March 19th from 9:00am-10:30am. Title of session: The State of Technology in Your Association.

I am very pleased to have the opportunity to take a look, with you at a “Chapter of the Future” as we consider the interesting challenges and the many technologies available specific to social networking, web learning, membership data management, video conferencing, etc.  Also, this year, the AGC Pavilion will lead the way to the latest services and solutions for changing outdated business practices and increasing productivity, both on the job site and in the workplace. AGC never misses an opportunity to make their events relevant, engaging and enlightening experiences. I look forward to meeting and greeting you there!

Just a note of importance, ASAE & The Center member benefits like the discussion and list-servs can help bring together associations and provide resources.  Sterling was recommended through the power of the ASAE Listservs, to be a speaker at this event.
