NFi Studios Seeks PHP/Drupal Developer

Location: Downtown, Orlando, FL

Orlando, Florida based leader in providing web technologies connecting industry and member communities, is seeking a talented, bright and eager PHP/Drupal Developer. As a part of our team, you will work to create, maintain, and improve creative website applications. You will also be working in Drupal to develop and maintain sites, as well as developing application code in Zend Framework. The applicant should be able to work and resolve development issues as they arise, independently, in a fast pace work environment, and be able to meet deadlines. 

Necessary skills: 

* PHP 5+ 
* MySQL 5+ 
* Apache 2.x and associated modules 
* Javascript (Prototype and jQuery Frameworks) 
* (X)HTML/CSS 
* Drupal 5/6 

Preferred Skills 

* Zend Framework Experience 
* Strong knowledge of MVC architecture 
* Strong understanding of optimization 
* Smarty Template Language 
* OOD/OOP 
* LAMP Administration 
* Cross Browser compatibility issues 
* Web Service integrations (RPC, SOAP, REST) 
* Lucene Search 

You will: 

* Report to and work directly with the Director of Development and Project Manager 
* Manage maintenance accounts of large clients 
* Communicate with team about implementing design and functionality within new websites 
* Coordinate with Project Manager on multiple tasks throughout the workday 
* Get first hand experience of the development and maintenance process from client meetings, brainstorming, coding and finally delivering a finished website
