Thanksgiving is this week, and usually, among spending time with friends and family, you have time to catch up on some reading, tasks, whatever it may be to feel refreshed when you come back from the holiday. To help you out this Thanksgiving holiday, I suggest you spend time checking out the social news websites below:

1) Digg: Popular site, and one we use here at NFi Studios. It is the largest and most popular social news website on the internet.
2) Reddit: Another popular news site. We are looking into more here at NFi.
3) Slashdot: Tech news site
4) Mixx: Array of social news topics, and ability to create groups on site to share news stories you find interesting.
5) Hugg: Site focuses on environmental issues.
6) Stumble Upon: Another very popular site we use at NFi Studios. A social network and browser toolbar which allows users to channel surf the internet.
7) Sphinn: News site for search and interactive marketers. Not only read articles, but take a part in discussions and view events surrounded by articles.
8) PlugIM: User driven internet marketing community. Topics include marketing, product development, and search engine information.
9) DesignFloat: Designs would love this site! Topics include advertising, branding, digital media and art, and freelancing.
10) Hubspot: News geared around business entrepreneurs and business professionals.

There are a great deal of social news sites on the internet and most of them are no longer active. The fact of the matter is you do not have alot of time and want something quick you can browse the news, and resources to further your knowledge, education, and growth in your company or business.
