PHP Developer

Orlando, Florida based leader in providing web technologies connecting industry and member communities, is seeking a talented, bright and eager PHP Developer. As a part of our team, you will work to create, maintain, and improve creative website applications.  You will be developing application code in Zend Framework.  The applicant should be able to work and resolve development issues as they arise, independently, in a fast pace work environment, and be able to meet deadlines.

Necessary skills:

  • PHP 5+
  • MySQL 5+
  • Apache 2.x and associated modules
  • Javascript (Prototype and jQuery Frameworks)
  • (X)HTML/CSS
  • OOD/OOP
  • Strong knowledge of MVC architecture

Preferred Skills:

  • Zend Framework Experience
  • Doctrine ORM Experience
  • Drupal 5/6
  • Strong understanding of optimization
  • Smarty Template Language
  • LAMP Administration
  • Cross Browser compatibility issues

You will:

  • Report to and work directly with the Director of Development and Project Manager
  • Manage maintenance accounts of large clients
  • Communicate with team about implementing design and functionality within new websites
  • Coordinate with Project Manager on multiple tasks throughout the workday
  • Get first hand experience of the development and maintenance process from client meetings, brainstorming, coding and finally delivering a finished website

Account / Implementation Manager

  • Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; and implementing change request orders.

  • Proactively manage customer centric communications surrounding business requirements, service offering, project deliverables and service quality, to ensure that the customer’s expectations are met.

  • Conduct project kickoffs, establish team communications, and facilitate meetings

  • Clearly communicate project goals, roles, responsibilities both internally and externally

  • Communicate customer status and escalate concerns, and issues to management as needed

  • Manage customer issues for priorities, escalation, and resolution

  • Provide weekly updates, follow-through and exceptional customer service to clients

  • Provide training to internal operations and clients on delivered applications and services

  • Update and maintain product knowledge base for internal and customer/partner reference

  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
