Generation Gap 2011

The Digital Divide is fairly new in our vocabulary in the past few years. It has been defined as the gap between people with effective access to digital and information technology and those with very limited or no access at all. It includes the imbalances in physical access to technology as well as the imbalances in resources and skills needed to effectively participate as a digital citizen. It is the unequal access by some members of society to information and communication technology, and the unequal acquisition of related skills.

Distinctions between Social Business and Enterprise 2.0

Enterprise social software (also known as or regarded as a major component of Enterprise 2.0), comprises social software as used in "enterprise" (business/commercial) contexts. It includes social and networked modifications to corporate intranets and other classic software platforms used by large companies to organize their communication.

QR Codes vs. MSTags

Google has added QR codes to their map world allowing people to scan a code and identify it as a favorite place.  “This unique bar code on the lower right of the sticker (known as a QR code) lets customers - and potential customers - instantly learn more about a business, by visiting a mobile version of the business' Place Page on any supported phone. Here's more on how it works and what you can do with it: Make sure your phone can scan a QR code with its camera, either with an application that you download or via software that's already installed on your phone.
