NTEN facilitates the exchange of knowledge and information within our community. "We connect our members to each other, provide professional development opportunities, educate our constituency on issues of technology use in nonprofits, and spearhead groundbreaking research, advocacy, and education on technology issues affecting our entire community."

Volunteering is a very valuable and much-needed use of time. A dedicated, proficient, group of volunteers could prove to be an important cornerstone for many nonprofit associations.

There are various personal benefits and reasons why people volunteer.  Most volunteers quickly recognize that its not so much what you give but the personal feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction you get in return.  Volunteering promotes an opportunity to contribute to your community, and an opportunity to apply your skills and to learn new ones.

The 2009 Nonprofit Technology Conference will take place Sunday, April 26 through Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at the Hilton, in San Francisco, California. NTEN is a membership organization of nonprofit professionals who put technology to use for their causes. NTEN is where the Nonprofit Technology Community meets. NTEN connects its members to the resources they need to use technology effectively -- while keeping in mind the importance of having fun in the process of creating change.

Just last year, NFi Studios attended and exhibited at the ASAE Technology Conference for the first time.  At the time, NFi had association clients from past and current projects, but this was the beginning of a new year, and new adventure.  ASAE (American Society of Association Executives) is the membership organization and voice of the association profession.
