Donna Dowless: Unveiling of the “Love Bus”
Posted by Elizabeth BaranikFebruary 14th, 2008
This morning, one of Orlando’s finest, Donna Dowless, a self-taught contemporary artist unveiled her Lynx “Love Bus” on the day of Love: Valentine’s Day at the Grand Bohemian Hotel Downtown. In the large attendance were some of Orlando’s political leaders including, Buddy Dyer and his wife. Lynx has stated,
“The “Love Bus’’ was created by local artist Donna Dowless and features a montage of hearts and the word “Love’ that blanket both sides of the 40-foot bus. It will find its way on to the roads of Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties over the next 12 months as part of LYNX regular fleet of 290 buses.”

This is all in a part of her “Love Project” which she is hoping to spread around Orlando. Please check out some of her artwork that is displayed at Q Gallery and the Grand Bohemian Gallery.
